UPSC EPFO 2021 Exam Dates

The date of the UPSC EPFO EO/AO Exam is on 9th May 2021.

Duties of Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer inter alia are

• To look after the work of Enforcement,Recovery, Accounts, Administration Cash, Legal, Pension and Computer which includesthe statutory and administrative functions like conducting inquiry settlement of claims,general administration;
• Maintenance of Cash Book/ administration;
• Maintenance of CashBook/Reconciliation of Bank Statements;
• MIS returns etc

Pattern of the Test

The UPSC EPFO Enforcement Officer/ Accounts Officers consists of two phases:

1. Recruitment Test (Objective Type): This consists of 120 Questions of 100 Marks and duration would be 2 hours.
2. Interview (Personality Test).

Scheme of the Recruitment Test:

1. The test will be of two hours duration.
2. All questions will carry equal marks.
3. The test will be objective type questions with multiple choices of answer.
4. The medium of the test will be both Hindi and English.
5. There will be penalty for wrong answers. Every wrong answer will carry adeduction of one-third of the marks assigned to that question. If no answer ismarked for a question, there will be no penalty for that question.

• Developmental Issues.
• Indian Polity.
• Indian Economy.
• Indian Freedom Struggle.
• Industrial Relations.

• Social Security in India.

Other Topics

1. General Accounting Principles.
2. General Science
3. Knowledge of Computer applications.
4. General English- To evaluate candidate’s understanding of Englishlanguage & workman – like use of words.
5. General Mental Ability
6. Quantitative Aptitude.

Weightage

Recruitment Test (RT) and Interview carry weightage in the ratio of 75:25 for thecandidates shortlisted based on Recruitment Test (RT) and qualify in the interview.
