INTERNATIONAL INTELECTUAL PROPERTY INDEX India is poised to become a leader for emerging markets looking to transform their economies through IP-driven innovation, according to the International Intellectual Property (IP) Index 2023 published by the U.S. Chambers of Commerce, which ranks India 42nd among 55 top global economies. Copyright (Amendment) Rules, 2021 In India, the copyright regime is governed by the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Copyright Rules, 2013.
