Biswanath Ghat

Biswanath Ghat is a village in Assam, located on the banks of the Brahmaputra River and is known as "Gupta Kashi". The name "Gupta Kashi" is a comparison to Kashi during the Gupta Empire era. The village is named after the ancient Biswanath temple, a prominent religious site for centuries. Biswanath Ghat is also known for its ghat, island, and temple built by the Ahom king.

It is part of the necropolis (burial place) of the ancient Egyptian city of Memphis. It is located on the western bank of the Nile, 40 kilometers south of Cairo, the capital of Egypt. Bomb threat e-mail to Gol Gumbaz museum turns out to be hoax. It is the located in the state of Karnataka, built in Indo-Islamic style of architecture.It is the tomb of Mohammed Adil Shah (ruled 1627–1657). Andriamamelo Cave

Andriamamelo Cave is located in Western Madagascar and contains ancient rock art, hints at ancient connections between Africa and Asia. The art is the 1st pictorial art found on the island and includes images of nature with human-like and animal-like figures. The art includes unique black rock drawings and motifs from Egypt, Ethiopia, Afro-Arab and Borneo.

Sinhagad fort

The Watch and earn initiative is a project to protect the Sinhagad fort, an ancient hill fortress located at Pune in Maharashtra. The fort is previously known as Kondhana and it is known for the Battle of Sinhagad. Battle of Sinhagad was held in 1670 between Tanaji Malusare, a Maratha commander and Udaybhan Rathore, a fort keeper under Jai Singh I.

1300-year-old Buddhist Stupa found in Odisha A 1,300-year-old stupa was recently found by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) in the Jajpur district of Odisha at a Khondalite mining site. That is where the Khondalite stones for the Puri, India, beautification project surrounding the Shree Jagannath Temple from the 12th century came from. What conclusions has the ASI reached? Initial evaluation revealed the stupa may be 4.5 metres tall and date to the 7th or 8th centuries. Megalithic Burial Sites Recent research indicates that Andhra Pradesh's Tirupati district is home to the largest number of anthropomorphic burial sites. An anthropomorphic site is one that has an image of a human body over its megalithic graves. A megalith is a massive stone that has been utilised, either alone or in conjunction with other stones, to build a prehistoric construction or monument. Buddhist Caves found at Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve Following an exploration exercise this year, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) reported 26 Buddhist caves in Madhya Pradesh's Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. About The caves date from the 2nd century BC to the 5th century BC and are associated with the Mahayana sect of Buddhism. For the first time since 1938, the exploration was held in the region. Cairn Circles A megalith is a large prehistoric stone that has been used to construct a structure or monument, either alone or together with other stones. Cairn-circles are the prehistoric stone row which is a linear arrangement of parallel megalithic standing stones.
